Job Title: Sales Executive – New & Existing Accounts
Our client, a dynamic, technology‑led print and innovations company, seeks a proven sales person capable of engaging at all levels to develop and sustain a customer base within the Milton Keynes area. The successful candidate will support existing house accounts while building new business and delivering a comprehensive portfolio of capabilities.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
* Generate and qualify leads
* Source and develop client referrals
* Prepare sales action plans and strategies
* Schedule sales activity
* Develop and maintain a customer database using a corporate CRM tool
* Develop and maintain sales and promotional materials (alongside Marketing)
* Make sales calls to new and existing clients
* Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
* Develop sales proposals
* Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports
* Respond to sales enquiries and concerns by phone, email or in person
* Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
* Follow up on sales activity
* Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management (MIR)
* Participate in sales events
* Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development
Education and Experience
* Knowledge of relevant computer applications (MS Word)
* Knowledge of principles and practices of sales
* Knowledge of customer service principles
* Knowledge of basic business principles
* Experience in direct sales – preferably within print and/or associated marketplace
* Experience in making presentations
* Proven ability to achieve sales targets
