<div><h3>HR Manager – 6 Month FTC</h3><p>St Albans</p><p>We are currently partnering with a well-established and growing organisation based in St Albans to recruit an experienced HR Manager or HR Business Partner with a strong generalist background on an 6-month fixed-term contract during a period of transition and change. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hands‑on HR professional to make a real impact across the full employee lifecycle within a fast‑paced environment.</p><h3>The Opportunity</h3><p>Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will take ownership of a broad range of HR activities, ensuring best practice, compliance, and a high‑quality employee experience across the business. This role requires a confident self‑starter who can drive initiatives through to completion with precision and consistency.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide expert support on employee relations matters and coach managers</li><li>Manage end‑to‑end recruitment and partner with managers on hiring needs</li><li>Ensure compliance with UK employment law and lead HR audits (e.g. RTW, GDPR, IR35)</li><li>Produce HR reports and insights using HRIS data</li><li>Act as HRIS lead, maintaining data accuracy and improving system functionality</li><li>Support salary benchmarking, pay reviews, and benefits processes</li><li>Drive performance management and support learning & development initiatives</li></ul><h3>About You</h3><ul><li>Proven HR Manager experience across the full employee lifecycle</li><li>Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice</li><li>Experience with HRIS systems (ideally Cascade/IRIS) and data reporting</li><li>Demonstrated success managing recruitment, audits, and ER cases</li><li>High attention to detail with a “completer‑finisher” mindset</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Able to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively</li></ul><h3>What’s on Offer</h3><ul><li>Competitive salary up to £68,000 pro rata</li><li>Good benefits package</li><li>Immediate impact role within a supportive and collaborative environment</li></ul><p>If you’re an experienced HR professional available for an interim assignment and ready to hit the ground running, we’d love to hear from you.</p><p>This is an urgent requirement and the client can only consider candidate immediately available or with a short notice period.</p></div>
