Exploit Developer - Offensive Security
Locations: Basingstoke
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Currently recruiting for a Exploit Developer to join a highly respected offensive security team working at the cutting edge of vulnerability research.
This is a rare opportunity to work side by side with world-class vulnerability researchers, building complex software that interacts deeply with real-world platforms to deliver genuine security impact.
The Role
As a Exploit Developer, you'll be developing robust, high-quality software in unusual and challenging environments, with a strong focus on offensive security. Your work will directly support vulnerability research across a wide range of platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering robustly engineered products in unconventional environments
* Reverse engineering software internals
* Reimplementing system internals to expose unintended functionality
* Deep diving into the architecture of complex and unusual systems
Key skills include:
* Have strong experience in professional software development and secure development practices
* Be comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary team of researchers and developers
* Be eligible to hold UK DV clearance
* High-level languages such xsngvjr as Python
* Low-level languages such as C and Rust
* Assembly language or low-level architecture internals
* Developing offensive security / red team tooling
* System internals of platforms such as Windows, Linux, Android and iOS
* Automated build systems such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitHub Actions
