Rutherford is partnered with a leading Employment team in London. The firm is seeking an Employment Lawyer (1-10 PQE) to join its London office. This is a rare chance to work closely with all Partners on high-profile, intellectually stimulating matters spanning employment litigation and strategic advisory work.

About the Team
The Employment team advises prestigious clients across private and public sectors on their most complex and sensitive employment matters. You’ll work on high-value cross-border projects, executive-level appointments and separations, precedent-setting litigation, complex workforce restructuring, outsourcing arrangements, benefits and incentives programs, trade secret protection, and equality and diversity initiatives.
The London team comprises several highly-regarded Partners and a strong team of lawyers, supported by professional support resources, forming part of an international employment group spanning EMEA and APAC.
What You’ll Do
* Work alongside Partners on high-profile employment matters, including sophisticated Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation.
* Provide strategic advice on business-critical employment issues.
* Take a leading role in coordinating complex cross-border projects, including large-scale restructurings and multinational compliance initiatives.
* Manage your own caseload with full support, gaining exceptional client exposure and opportunities to build key relationships.
* Contribute to business development initiatives and grow your professional reputation within the market.
Your Profile & Expertise
We are looking for candidates with:
* Excellent academic credentials.
* Solid legal training in a City or international law firm.
* Experience handling complex employment matters, including advisory work, litigation, transactional matters, and, ideally, restrictive covenant injunctions.
* A pragmatic, commercially astute approach aligned with client objectives.
