Senior Developer (Magento/PHP) at CTI Digital
What you’ll be doing
As a Senior Developer with a backend focus on Magento (Adobe Commerce), you’ll translate client requirements into powerful technical solutions. You’ll be hands-on in developing and optimising robust e-commerce platforms, integrating best-of-breed technologies, plugins, and apps to create a solid foundation for our clients’ growth. You’ll be involved in the project lifecycle from planning and development to delivery and support. You’ll have opportunities to learn and upskill with support from experienced team members across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Development & Implementation: development and maintenance of high-quality code for e-commerce platforms, with a focus on Magento (Adobe Commerce).
* Technical Solutions: devise technically feasible and efficient solutions from proposal stage through project completion.
* Troubleshooting: collaborate to troubleshoot and solve complex technical challenges to keep projects on track.
* Collaboration: work closely with project managers and internal teams to deliver projects.
* Documentation: produce clear, client-facing training materials and technical documentation.
What experience you need to be successful
* Proven expertise in developing, maintaining, and optimising e-commerce solutions with Adobe Commerce (Magento), with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Experience with Shopify is a bonus.
* A strong understanding of web services (REST/SOAP) and high proficiency in PHP.
* Familiarity with headless commerce solutions like HYVA (Adobe Commerce) or Hydrogen (Shopify) is useful but not essential.
* Ability to communicate effectively with both clients and internal teams, simplifying technical concepts and fostering collaborative discussions.
* Experience working in an agency environment, balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and client expectations with professionalism and adaptability.
* A proactive mindset with a genuine hunger to learn and stay up-to-date with trends and innovations in the e-commerce community.
