HR Officer – Boskalis
We are looking for an HR Officer to support Managers and employees across Boskalis Westminster and its subsidiary groups.
Responsibilities
* Act as main point of contact for visa inquiries and administer visa application process for new hires and current employees.
* Liaise with external immigration consultants and legal advisors, updating live visa spreadsheet and maintaining accurate records.
* Manage the Boskalis Academy: act as first point of contact for employee enquiries, keep up to date with group training activities, organise training sessions, notify managers of mandatory training and coordinate SHEQ training activities.
* Maintain training records, source external training providers and ensure continuous learning.
* Provide general HR support and advice to managers and employees, handle employee relations issues, support recruitment process, conduct new employee induction and probationary reviews, manage casework including disciplinary and grievance processes.
* Log employee absences, support payroll activities, initiate Occupational Health referral process, generate quarterly reports for the HR Manager and undertake additional tasks as assigned by the HR Manager.
Required Knowledge & Experience
* Two years HR Officer experience and understanding of UK employment legislation.
* Advanced level with Microsoft Word/Excel; knowledge of Workday/payroll advantageous.
* Highly developed communication skills, professional and discreet manner, team player.
* Ability to run reports from data provided and desire for a career within the HR profession.
* CIPD Level 5 qualification and experience of working in a fast paced HR Department.
* Willingness to travel to other sites if appropriate.

Additional Information
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will work as an HR Officer alongside the HR Advisor and HR Assistant. The role is based at Westminster House in Fareham, Hampshire, with up to two days a week hybrid working, full-time 37.5 hours a week.
