Responsibilities
Make an impact Engineering Site Manager, ASDA, Lutterworth. Working Monday to Friday days, salary dependent on experience. Excellent company benefits to include private health care, company contributory pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus stats.
* Manage and coordinate the daily activities of a large engineering team in an automated warehouse.
* Provide operational management oversight, ensuring all SLAs and KPIs are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.
* Lead and support resident site leaders, engineering teams & support staff through effective planning, performance management, coaching, and training.
* Ensure safety regulations are followed and report anomalies immediately.
* Implement health and safety policies and procedures on the site.
* Prepare and participate in method statements, risk assessments, and documentation.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to add value for the customer.
* Represent Swisslog professionally at all times.
Application Requirements
The Person – Engineering Site Manager
* Experienced Engineering Manager with managing large teams of Engineers.
* Good understanding/experience of automation.
* Apprenticeship in electrical/mechanical/controls engineering, qualified to at least Level 3.
* Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, performance management, health and safety, client engagement, flexibility, teamwork, and integrity skills.
* Experience with PPM and shift planning.
* Ability to drive continuous improvements.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills for a customer-facing role.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and report writing/delivery.
* Effective communication with stakeholders, focusing on customer needs and satisfaction.
