Hod Carrier
We require an experienced hod-carrier / brickies labourer to work alongside bricklayers or preferably a 2&1 gang at Reading University.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Hod Carrier within the brickwork industry.
* Background knowledge of bricklaying processes and safety standards.
* Ability to work efficiently in a construction environment in Berkshire.
* Good physical fitness and the ability to handle manual work consistently.
* Own PPE and relevant safety equipment is preferred.
Responsibilities:
* Carrying bricks, mortar, and other materials to bricklayers on-site using a Hod.
* Assisting with preparation and organisation of materials prior to commencement of work.
* Ensuring the safe handling and transportation of building materials according to safety standards.
* Supporting bricklayers in their work as required for smooth workflow.
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment around the site.

Contract length: 8 weeks
Pay: £150.00 per day
