Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + 10% Performance Bonus

Reports To: Founders

The Opportunity The moderation drinking movement is here, and 6Percent is leading the charge with high-quality, mid-strength wine.


We are looking for a Sales Executive who thrives on action, not administration. This is not a role for someone who wants to sit behind a laptop designing sales flows or writing high-level strategy decks. This is a boots-on-the-ground role. You will be out in the field most days... knocking on doors, pouring samples, and closing deals. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who wants to learn business skills from a fast-growing start-up.


The Mission: To physically get the product into the market. You are the engine that turns interest into orders.


Key Responsibilities

* Field Sales & Customer Acquisition (The Hunter): prospect and secure new listings across the On-Trade (restaurants, pub groups, bars) and Off-Trade (independent retail). You aren't just emailing; you are walking in with a bottle in hand.
* At Event Sales: You will own the commercial side of our events. Whether it’s a trade show or a consumer festival, your job is to work the floor, make the connections, and sell the stock.
* New Business Development: Build a pipeline of On-Trade and Off-Trade customers. You need to be fearless in your approach to securing new listings.
* Account Visits: Maintain relationships with our stockists by popping in to check stock levels, merchandise the shelf, and train their staff on how to sell 6Percent.
* The Ideal Candidate
* "Road Warrior" Mentality: You hate sitting at a desk. You are happiest when you are out meeting people.
* Resilience: You don't take no personally. You treat rejection as just part of the process of getting to getting a yes.
* Experience: 3-5+ years of sales experience within the Beverage Alcohol industry (Wine/Spirits preferred).
* Flexibility: You are willing to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends when we have key events.
* The Network: You bring a black book of current contacts in the UK hospitality, wholesale, or retail sectors. You know who to call to get a meeting.
* Commercial Acumen: You understand the mathematics of the trade: margins, retros, GP, and pricing structures for both retail and hospitality.
* Self-Starter: You are comfortable working autonomously in a startup environment without a big corporate support structure.


Desirable (But not essential)

* WSET Level 2 or 3 qualification.
* Experience specifically with No/Lo or alternative beverage brands.
* Full UK driving license.
