💰 £32,000–£45,000 (depending on hours/experience)

We’re looking for a Head of People and Culture to help us deliver that promise. This new senior leadership role goes beyond traditional HR, focusing on culture, wellbeing, and engagement across our 200+ team members - from early years educators (EYFS) to fitness professionals and senior leadership. It’s a unique opportunity for a driven HR Manager ready to step up or an experienced HR professional looking for a healthy work–life balance.
About the Role
This is a strategic position where you’ll:
✔ Lead people strategy in line with our not-for-profit values
✔ Champion culture, wellbeing, and engagement initiatives
✔ Drive recruitment, retention, and talent development
✔ Embed learning and development across all levels
✔ Act as a coach and advisor to leaders across the club
✔ Oversee day-to-day HR operations, compliance, and systems (we use BambooHR)
About You
You’ll thrive here if you are:
✨ CIPD Level 5+ with experience in a senior HR or People & Culture role
✨ A strategic thinker who also loves getting stuck in
✨ A values-led leader who genuinely cares about people
✨ Skilled in engagement, L&D, and shaping organisational culture
Bonus points for experience in childcare (EYFS), leisure, hospitality or not-for-profit.
