Internal Sales Executive / Business Development Manager
Office-based (with flexibility to visit clients)
£30,000 - £40,000 basic + uncapped commission (OTE £50k+)

We’re working with a growing, well-established metals business that’s built its reputation on relationships, reliability, and results - and now they’re looking for a driven sales professional to join the team.
This isn’t an account management role where you inherit a pipeline…
This is for someone who wants to hunt, win, and grow their own portfolio.
The Opportunity
You’ll be joining a tight-knit, down-to-earth team within a business that operates across stainless steel, coil, and aluminium products, supplying customers across the UK and internationally.
With strong backing, a solid supplier network, and recent growth into aerospace, you’ll have everything you need to succeed.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Generating new business through proactive sales activity
* Building your own customer base from scratch
* Developing and growing existing and lapsed accounts
* Managing the full sales cycle from enquiry to order
* Negotiating with customers and suppliers
* Working closely with internal teams (sales, warehouse, accounts)
* Visiting customers when needed

What They’re Looking For
* Experience in B2B sales (ideally within metals)
* Background in stainless steel, coil, aluminium, or similar
* Strong new business mindset (this is key)
* Confident communicator who can build relationships
* Self-motivated and driven to earn
* Someone who fits a friendly, down-to-earth team
Targets & Expectations
* Monthly revenue target of £10k (bonus threshold)
* Opportunity to land high-value orders (£20k+ deals possible)
* Supportive environment - you won’t be micromanaged
