Project Site Manager – EV Connections
Location: South Midlands / North London (Field-based across Southern UK)
Employment Type: Permanent
PureFuel is currently working with a leading ICP delivering a growing pipeline of EV infrastructure projects across the South of England. They are looking to hire a Site Manager with a strong background in HV connections (11kV) and experience overseeing the delivery of multi-utility or I&C connection works.
The company is scaling rapidly due to several long-term contracts with major clients and needs a capable, hands-on operator to manage multiple fast-moving sites across the region. You will oversee the construction and electrical delivery of ultra-rapid EV charging installations, including substation builds and HV off-site works, often in high-profile, live commercial environments.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Managing daily site operations across active projects to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance.
* Coordinating civils and electrical teams, managing subcontractors, and ensuring site compliance.
* Serving as the primary interface between clients, delivery teams, and senior leadership.
* Managing multiple sites at various stages, from civils to energisation.
* Supporting progress reporting and commercial oversight of projects.
What They're Looking For:
* Strong experience with 11kV power connections, especially in EV, commercial I&C, or multi-utility infrastructure.
* Confidence managing contractors and electricians on active sites.
* Background in DNO, ICP, or high-volume utilities contractor environments.
* Hands-on experience or managing personnel who are hands-on.
* Ideally located within reach of the Home Counties / South Midlands, but flexibility is essential as multiple locations are involved.
