Creative Instrumentation are recruiting a Quality Manager for our growing engineering business. This opportunity will give you the chance to work with a diverse group of customers within sectors including Medical, Oil & Gas, Defence and Aerospace.This is a hands-on Quality position that requires adaptability and a high level of professionalism. You will be dealing with some of largest engineering businesses on high profile projects. Key responsibilities of the Quality Manager are: • Continually improving the quality of the business. • Managing quality issues with customers /suppliers and implementing preventative action plans. • Management of training plans and procedures. • Conducting FMEA's on a continuing basis on products and processes. • Establish route cause analysis on internal and external Non Conformance's and implementing preventative action plans. • Co-ordinate internal company audits and follow up corrective actions. • Maintain and regularly review specifications & paperwork. • Ensure all products leaving the business are to the required standard. • Ensure the Quality manual is reviewed to ensure it continues to be suitable, adequate and effective as the business grows. • Ensure all staff are inducted into the business and are aware of the quality manual standards and follow company processes. • Management of the Quality team/department The successful applicant will require the following skills / experience • Conversant with ISO9001 & AS9001. • Experience of implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems. • Strong problem solving skills. • Continuous improvement experience. • Proven capability within a Quality Management role in an engineering/manufacturing environment. • Excellent communication skills across all levels. • Team player
