Employment Solicitor\n\nLocation: Cardiff\n\nSalary: £45,000 + bonus\n\nEden Rose are working with a thriving, award-winning legal practice who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join and lead the growth of the Employment Law department.\n\nRole:\n\nYou will be required to develop and expand our Employment Law offering by:\n\n * Building and running a caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters\n\n * Handling matters for both claimants and respondents, including unfair dismissal, discrimination claims, TUPE, redundancies, and employment contracts/policies\n\n * Winning new business and developing relationships with local businesses, HR consultancies, and professional networks (a strong referral base is advantageous)\n\n * Undertaking marketing and business development initiatives to promote our firm-wide Employment Law services\n\n * Working alongside the Managing Director to implement strategic growth and performance initiatives\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Applications open to qualified solicitors with a minimum of 3 years PQE\n\n * Must have strong experience in both contentious and advisory Employment Law matters\n\n * Experience of independently managing a full caseload from instruction to conclusion\n\n * Ability to supervise and mentor junior team members, and contribute to a culture of growth and development\n\n * Demonstrated success in business development and networking\n\n * Strong client care and communication skills\n\n * The role is based at the Cardiff office, with a preferred minimum of 4 days in-office and 1 day remote working\n\n * The preferred candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ambition and commercial awareness to actively contribute to the development of the department and wider firm\n\n * This is a key leadership-track role – the preferred candidate will be expected to ultimately grow and lead the Employment Law department, with a defined career pathway to support their progression into a senior leadership position within the firm\n\nBenefits:\n\n * A competitive salary of £45,000.00 pa, plus performance-based bonus structure\n\n * 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + Birthday Leave\n\n * Company mobile phone, laptop + IT equipment for home working\n\n * Designated office parking space\n\nIf you’re a proactive and entrepreneurial Employment Solicitor looking for a new leadership opportunity within a dynamic and supportive firm, we’d love to hear from you
