We are recruiting for a site based Quality Manager. The projects is a £100 new build high tech/high spec manufacturing plant. The role is to provide quality and systems support to the business through the on site delivery and through to commissioning and defects and warranty periods. You will be responsible for the companies quality plan and be involved in early stage works to ensure compliance in terms of the legal obligations of the wider business, full compliance with any external manufacturer and working with the supply chain to check and and ensure compliance of their independent quality systems. You will be responsible for checking of on-site quality with the delivery teams and sub-contractors and be expected to audit and maintain a register and reporting procedure for NCR's and the wider best practices. You will manage, update and amend the regional plan and work to ensure compliance with the relevant ISO standards and other industry benchmarks. You will also investigate latent defects and other short and long term compliance issues so the wider business can learn and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
