Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements and preferences of residents.
* Ensure all food is prepared safely and hygienically, adhering to food safety standards.
* Plan menus that cater to the nutritional needs of our residents.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
* Collaborate with care staff to understand residents' dietary restrictions.
* Assist in meal service, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for residents.
* Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
* Participate in training sessions related to food safety and culinary skills.
Qualifications * Proven experience as a Cook or similar role, preferably in a care home or healthcare setting.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach towards residents.
