Job Summary The Head of People & Culture Shared Services, UK&I is an integral role within the P&C Operations team, and you will contribute across all elements of the people & culture (P&C) skillset. Leading a team of people & culture professionals you will be responsible for developing the PC and payroll service offering through process and system optimisation for the UK&I geographical region. The role aims to reduce administration and complexity whilst improving service to our employees and Managers. Initially you will report directly into the Global Head of PC Operations and work closely with the Head of People Relations UK&I and the wider P&C Leadership Team to ensure our global P&C strategy is executed at local level. Accountabilities Key accountabilities include but are not limited to: Implementation of People & Culture strategies for UK&I, in line with organisational objectives Managing key people & culture process for UK&I including HR administration, talent acquisition and payroll. Providing day to day management support to the UK&I people & culture team, being the main escalation point for all aspects of people & culture including: Administration including contractual changes People & culture processes & policies Benefits Learning & Development Talent Acquisition Onboarding Payroll Lead on critical change projects, including local system implementation, benefits projects and global process change. Supporting and developing team members with their onboarding and personal development plans, providing coaching and feedback on a regular basis Working closely with key People & Culture roles to ensure local stakeholders from these groups are effectively supported Take responsibility for elements of the UK&I People & Culture budget Using key people & culture data and analysis to help drive enhancements to our local processes and policies Work closely with IT teams to ensure data integrity and security within people & culture systems Ensuring compliance with local employment legislations including collaborating with our tax teams to ensure compliance with HMRC and international tax laws Attending meetings and providing updates/presentations as required Providing support to other regions as required Skills The successful candidate will need to demonstrate: Tangible, measurable improvement in HR practice in a previous role Understanding of the commercial / financial drivers that underpin decision making The use of data and analysis to form structured proposals and arguments Ability to adjust your communication style as required to different audiences Ability to build relationships at all levels within the business The aptitude to quickly understand complex HR legal issues and identify and propose solutions Demonstrable examples where you have effectively delivered change in practice. You will be innovative, aspirational, driven and appropriately tenacious. You focus on solutions and inspire others to follow your lead Detail focused with a hands-on approach, must be prepared to follow up your ideas with delivery of the improvement Experience working in a complex, multisite business Qualifications and Experience Educated to degree level in a relevant subject (HR or Business).
