Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a Reliable and Skilled Temporary Cook to work for a company in Thame
Role: Temporary Cook
Salary: £13-£16 per hour (dependent on experience)
Location: Thame
Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm, 4-5 days per week
Key Responsibilities of the Temporary Cook
* Prepare, cook, and present breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes to a high standard.
* Handle orders efficiently during busy service times.
* Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety practices at all times.
* Support menu planning and daily food preparation.
* Ensure kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are kept clean and organised.
* Work effectively as part of a team, assisting colleagues as needed.
* Manage stock rotation and report shortages
About you:
* Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential).
* Level 3 Food Hygiene / Food Safety Certificate (essential).
* Proven experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen, ideally in a café or daytime service environment.
* Ability to work independently and handle busy service periods.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Reliability and a positive, proactive attitude.
