Overview
My client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations at our facility & across our external teams covering Facilities Management & Landscaping (Both Private/Luxury & Local Authority). I think this could be particularly well suited to Site Managers from Construction who perhaps want to take their skills from Building Sites into something very transferable for them
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all site activities are conducted efficiently and safely, while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
Duties
* Oversee daily operations of the sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Manage site staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
* Allocate & Manage the people resources allocated to each job across our business portfolio - from Facilities Management, through to Private Landscaping.
* Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
* Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise in a timely manner.
* Maintain accurate records of site activities, including reports on productivity and safety incidents.
* Implement best practices for operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
* Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Skills
* A site manager from Construction could be a good fit or someone who has ran teams in a blue-collar capacity elsewhere
* Strong leadership and team management abilities.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proficient in project management techniques and tools.
* Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions based on findings.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the industry.
* Experience in budget management is advantageous.
