Description We have a superb opportunity for a Sales Executive/Researcher to join our proactive sales team at Harbour Hotel Guildford. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team on a part-time basis (24- hours per week ideally) at the Guildford Harbour Hotel. This part time role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the success of a busy hotel environment. The ideal candidate will have a warm, personable manner and a positive, can-do attitude. You will be confident in engaging with clients, enjoy developing strong relationships, and possess excellent organisational skills. A proactive approach, along with a passion for achieving results, is essential. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are also required for this role. Reporting into the Director of Sales, this brand-new role is to support proactive sales activities to drive new business and manage existing accounts and clients. Key ResponsibilitiesResearch and identify potential clients, partners, and business opportunitiesSupport the sales team in generating leads and converting enquiries Maintain and update client databases and records Assist with outreach, including emails and calls to prospective clients Support marketing and promotional activities where required RequirementsPrevious experience in sales, hospitality, or a hotel environment is preferred Knowledge of Opera and Thynk, although full training will be given to the right candidate. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Good organisational and research skills Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and basic office software Must be available to work on Fridays Who we are...
