We are looking for two dedicated and passionate cooks to join our team at Cedars House Barnet. Cedars is a well-established 12-bed home for Service Users with learning and physical disabilities, set in a welcoming house with a large private garden and easy access for residents. As a Care Home Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents enjoy nutritious, appealing meals every day. Part-Time Care Home Cooks (x2) – Cedars House, Barnet Location: Barnet, Hertfordshire Hours: 21 hours per week across 7 days (including weekends) – 7:00am start Salary: £12.82 per hour Key responsibilities include: Preparing and serving balanced, home-cooked meals with variety and choice. Maintaining consistently high standards in food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Managing stock, food orders, and expenditure within budget. Supervising the Kitchen Assistant and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Engaging with residents to review satisfaction and gather feedback on meals. Ensuring compliance with CareTech policies, food safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.
