Stonehaven Care Group, a leading provider of residential care for the elderly in Devon and Cornwall, are looking to recruit a HR administrator in our support office. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR administrator to join the Human Resources team at Stonehaven Care Group. You will work closely with the HR and Service Development manager and positively influence the smooth running of the HR Department under the strategic guidance of our Director of HR and Service Development. You will be responsible for the efficient coordination and administration of all aspects of day-to-day HR administration. The Role: The principal responsibilities will include: Supporting all aspects of day-to-day HR administration. Assisting with all administration relating to the HR employee life cycle and onboarding. Supporting recruitment initiatives and administration when required. Providing support to our managers and employees with all general HR enquiries. To be available to take minutes at Meetings held with employees. To ensure all e-paperwork and documents relating to employment throughout the employee lifecycle are obtained, from point of application through to termination of their employment. Co-ordinating the booking of training sessions for our care homes and tracking attendance and completion. To assist with any HR projects and/or tasks as and when required. To maintain the documentation database required for the company sponsorship Licence. Skills and experience: The successful candidate would have: A Professional, approachable, and consistent manner. Good communication skills. High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information and appreciation of the importance of regulatory requirements. Excellent organisational skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. Meticulous attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently. Excellent IT systems skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and online knowledge). Ability to act on own initiative, but also to know when to seek advice and be able to work within a team. Experience and/or qualifications in HR. An understanding of or experience of International Recruitment a bonus. We are looking for an individual to work 22.5 hours hours per week over 3 days per week with final working pattern to be agreed. The role would be office based in our Support Office in Ashburton, with the ability for some hybrid working following successful completion of an initial training period, subject to review. The position is advertised from £13.00 per hour to £15.00 per hour depending upon experience. ( from £25,350 to £29,250 pro-rata based upon a 37.5 hour working week – to be paid 4-weekly in arrears). The successful candidate may be requested to work extra hours as and when the business is facing busy periods. Bonus scheme – discretionary bonus scheme eligibility after 12-months service.
