* Job Title: Handyman (M/F) – Facilities Management
* Location: Stirling, FK8
* Salary: £12-14 per hour
* Hours: Full-time (Monday – Friday)
* Contract: 2 months
About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our Facilities Management team, supporting the smooth running and upkeep of a variety of commercial and residential sites. You'll be the go-to person for general repairs, basic maintenance, and ensuring a safe, well-maintained environment for our clients and their customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks across multiple sites (e.g., basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, minor electrical works).
* Conduct regular site inspections and report any maintenance issues or hazards.
* Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
* Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules.
* Ensure all works comply with relevant health & safety regulations.
* Liaise with contractors and suppliers when specialist works are required.
* Maintain accurate records of works completed and materials used.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a similar handyman or maintenance role, ideally within a facilities management environment.
* Good knowledge of basic building services, including plumbing, joinery, painting, and minor electrical repairs.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise workload and respond quickly to maintenance issues.
* A valid UK driving licence (desirable, depending on site requirements).
* Relevant trade qualifications (advantageous but not essential).
