Local Care Direct are looking for an HR Administrator to join our team. You will support all HR administrative activities, ensuring professionalism and efficiency in all processes. Working in a small, busy HR team, you should be able to work in a fast-paced, pressurized environment, think on your feet, and use your initiative.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Providing administrative support to the HR team with internal processes, in accordance with LCD policies and procedures.
2. Supporting the recruitment and onboarding process from authorization, advertising, arranging interviews, carrying out pre-employment checks, and processing new starter administration.
3. Assisting with updating and maintaining internal HR administration systems related to probation, performance & development reviews, sick absence management, and professional registration checks.
4. Assisting with data entry onto the electronic staff record system and maintaining staff files in line with departmental standards, deadlines, and confidentiality requirements.
5. Reviewing and updating internal HR systems and processes to ensure they are current and properly utilized.
6. Serving as the first point of contact for general HR queries via email, phone, and in person.
7. Supporting the HR team with the day-to-day administration of the Pension Scheme for employed staff.
8. Producing ID badges for all new employees.
9. Promoting and demonstrating best practices at all times.
