Job Description
The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers (builders, architects, quantity surveyors, landscapers, and homeowners).
* Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into sales
* Prepare and deliver accurate quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales
* Meet and exceed sales targets
* Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product ranges, technical specifications, and industry standards.
* Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
* Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers
Qualifications
1. Proven sales experience, ideally in the construction, building materials, or natural stone sector.
2. Commercial awareness and understanding of construction/architectural processes.
