Rate of pay: FTE £25,000 per annum (£12.82 per hour)
We're looking for an organised and detail-oriented HR Administrator/Coordinator to support our Head of People & Culture and help deliver smooth HR services across the business.
Key Responsibilities
You will be involved in a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
* Coordinating recruitment processes including compiling and posting job adverts, scheduling interviews and liaising with candidates
* Preparing and issuing employment documents such as offer letters, employment contracts and new starter documentation
* Chasing references and other employment checks (as well as providing references when requested)
* Organising and assisting with induction programmes and events and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees
* Maintain and update employee records in HR systems and physical personnel files
* Process employment changes including promotions, transfers and leavers
* Draft HR correspondence and ensure accurate documentation of employee relations matters
* Assist with administrative matters relating to time and attendance, absence, flexible working and overtime
* Support administration of employee benefits, pensions, and leave entitlements
* Respond to queries from employees
* Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries and provide guidance to employees and managers.
* Support the Head of People & Culture with employee relations matters, including formal cases, disciplinary processes, grievance procedures, conflict resolution, etc.
* Assist in coordinating employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
* Ensure adherence to employment legislation and company HR policies
* Assist with internal HR audits to ensure good results with external audits
* Compile of data and management info for HR and Board reports as required
* Monitor compliance with mandatory training and statutory requirements.
* Support the coordination of training sessions, workshops, and development activities.
* Track and maintain employee training records.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive or confidential information
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with confidence in learning new HR systems
* Problem-solving mindset with adaptability in a fast-paced environment
* Approachable, empathetic, and supportive in dealing with employees at all levels
* Self-motivated, proactive, and resilient, with the ability to stay calm under pressure
