This is a temporary position starting in February 2026 through to the end of March 2026, initially covering sickness. The Role – School Premises / Site Manager – Blackpool, Lancashire
The successful School Premises / Site Manager in Blackpool, Lancashire will be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance and security of the school site. As a School Premises / Site Manager in Blackpool, Lancashire, you will ensure that the school premises are safe, secure and fully operational at all times.
Duties of the School Premises / Site Manager in Blackpool, Lancashire will include:
1. Opening and closing the school site, ensuring security procedures are followed.
2. Carrying out general maintenance, repairs and DIY tasks across the school building and grounds.
3. Overseeing health and safety compliance, including risk assessments and site inspections.
4. Managing contractors on site and ensuring work is completed to required standards.
5. Monitoring and maintaining heating, lighting and alarm systems.
6. Ensuring the premises are clean, safe and compliant with statutory regulations.
7. Supporting with lettings and occasional out-of-hours requirements where needed.
The school are looking for a School Premises / Site Manager in Blackpool, Lancashire with previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a primary school setting.
