The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing on-site delivery, with a particular focus on mechanical and electrical (M&E) installations, programme compliance, and quality assurance. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a high-pressure environment, can confidently manage subcontractors, and has a strong understanding of construction programmes and sequencing. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, to quality standards, and in line with programme milestones. • Monitor M&E installations for compliance with design, safety, and regulatory requirements. • Hold contractors accountable for technical delivery and site conduct. • Coordinate site operations, manage sequencing, and resolve any logistical or trade interface issues. • Review contractor programmes and challenge delivery schedules where necessary. • Support the acceleration of works to recover programme delays or achieve early milestones. • Ensure communication across stakeholders is clear, proactive, and solution-focused. ________________________________________ Key Skills & Experience Essential: • Strong M&E knowledge – ability to review and monitor installation quality and compliance. • Proven experience in site management on complex construction projects. • Programme management capability – understanding of sequencing, critical path, and interdependencies. • Track record of contributing to programme acceleration and delivery improvements. • Excellent leadership, communication, and contractor management skills. Desirable: • SMSTS or equivalent site safety certification. • First Aid qualification. • Experience working on live or high-risk environments (e.g., healthcare, infrastructure)
