Back in 2017 we started delivering automation solutions to the market using RPA software from the leading global vendors. We landed customers and created value through these implementations. But we noticed gaps in these products, that frustrated us over and over, and reduced the overall value proposition to our customers. So, we decided that we’d challenge the market with a new product vision, and a customer offer, that was truly our own.
Nexbotix was reborn in February 2020, now as a product company. Our mission is to supercharge business processes with our own intelligent software bots. And the best bit? We have a pay-as-you-go, pay-as-you-grow, SaaS model. We don’t just sell our software! We hold our customers by the hand, and deliver results, through our end-to-end managed service proposition. Our differentiated approach ensures that our customers are engaged, empowered, and accelerated toward achieving ROI and success.
Our product ecosystem is rapidly evolving. A core part of this is our proprietary Nexbotix Intelligent Automation Hub (NIAH). NIAH combines RPA, with AI, and ML capabilities. We are growing, listening to our customers, and building new cutting-edge capabilities to our offering. It’s what we do.

The Role
Nexbotix’s growing Intelligent Automation Practice is looking for a customer-driven, solution-oriented Automation Developer to support one of our key automotive clients. This is a hands-on role with a focus on process identification, process scoping, process design, build, test and deploy, with UAT support. The focus will be to create ‘products’ form the automations that can be scaled across our broader client base.
You will work as part of a collaborative technical team, delivering high-quality automation solutions while also owning the relationship with the customer’s business stakeholders. You’ll help identify new opportunities for automation, support technical escalations, and contribute to the evolution of our Nexbotix Intelligent Automation Hub (NIAH).
Though this role is predominantly remote, you will be expected to attend on-site visits in Chepstow when needed and participate in quarterly team meet-ups in London. A candidate based in or near the Bristol area would be ideally positioned for success.
On-site expectation are around 3 days per month but need to be fluid based upon client requirements.
About You
You are an experienced automation developer and automation enthusiast who enjoys building real-world solutions that make businesses more efficient. You are proactive, analytical, and comfortable managing the end-to-end lifecycle of automation projects—from scoping and development to productisation and support.
You’re also confident working directly with customers, can handle complex problem-solving with ease, and have the people skills to make technical topics feel simple and accessible. You are self-motivated, adaptable, and thrive in a startup-style environment where innovation, autonomy, and agility are core values.
Key Responsibilities
Customer-Focused Automation Delivery
oWork closely with one of Nexbotix’s automotive customers to develop intelligent automation solutions using C#, Python, and RPA tools.
oEngage in scoping and assessing business processes that could be automated, working directly with customer stakeholders to understand needs.
oIdentify opportunities to productise solutions for use across other Nexbotix clients.
Technical Development & Support
oDesign, build, and maintain full-stack applications (ASP.NET, .NET Core, React/Blazor) and Azure-based solutions (Functions, SQL, Storage).
oInvestigate and resolve complex technical issues, manage escalations, and support customer-managed service environments.
oDevelop using modern RPA tools like Robot Framework.
Collaboration & Onsite Engagement
oServe as a trusted technical point of contact for the customer, representing Nexbotix with professionalism and clarity.
oBe available for onsite work in Chepstow when needed and attend quarterly London team meet-ups.
oWork cross-functionally with Nexbotix’s project delivery, customer success, and support teams.
Essential Skills
Technical Expertise: Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, Python, and full-stack development. Familiarity with Azure, RPA tools, and automation design is key.
Automation & AI: Experience with RPA platforms and ideally exposure to OCR and AI technologies.
Process-Oriented: Capable of identifying automation opportunities, scoping out solutions, and working closely with business SMEs to translate them into scalable tools.
Problem-Solver: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Able to resolve issues independently and quickly.
Communication: Clear, concise, and confident communicator—comfortable in stakeholder-facing roles.
Customer Relationship Management: Skilled at building trust and credibility with clients, and managing expectations effectively.
Organisation: Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.
