Site Manager - Main Contractor - Dumfries Location: On-site - Dumfries Start Date: 23rd February Project Value: £20m Programme: 60 weeks We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a leading main contractor on a £20m construction project. This is a long-term opportunity working on a 60-week programme, starting on site in February. The project is a large extension and newbuild project to a large industrial building. The building will remain live during the extension project. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing sub-contractors for steel frame and groundworks packages Quality Assurance (QA) checks and inspections Checking and signing off subcontractors' works Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme Working closely with a directly employed site team, including the Project Manager (PM) and Site Manager (SM) Assisting with health & safety compliance on site Requirements: Valid SMSTS First Aid certification CSCS card Proven experience working on steel frame and groundworks projects Previous experience working for a main contractor Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach Ability to work collaboratively within a site management team What's on Offer: Long-term role on a major £20m project Stable 60-week programme Opportunity to work with an established main contractor Competitive rate If you're an experienced Site Manager available for work in February and looking for a solid project with a reputable main contractor, we'd like to hear from you.
