About the Role

In this key role, you’ll be the Wellbeing & Safeguarding expert for PDSA who will lead the development and implementation of wellbeing and safeguarding initiatives, provide expert advice and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. This role is for 12 months to cover maternity leave.

You will work independently to advise and support colleagues on safeguarding concerns and investigations, leading a continuous cycle of monitoring, auditing, and governance in line with our safeguarding strategy, while providing clear oversight to the executive leadership team.

What we’re looking for:




* Expertise in wellbeing and safeguarding

* Experience developing policies and culture in these areas

* Strong understanding of risk assessment and compliance

* Delivering coaching and training sessions

* Developing and implementing policies, procedures and guidance

* Effective reporting including compliance, statutory and audit
