We are an established family business with over 45 years' experience in the home furniture industry. Reporting directly to a company director, the Sales Executive would be responsible for managing inbound sales enquiries on-line and in our own showroom, ensuring a seamless end-to-end customer experience.
Schedule
Tuesday to Saturday inclusive - 40 hours/week
Salary & Commission
Basic salary: £26,000 per annum paid monthly
Commission scheme - 4% on all sales, above minimum target (OTE £35,000)
Commission is uncapped - calculated quarterly and paid monthly in arrears.
Additional Information
Commission and bonus payments are subject to conditions, including attendance and performance
Employment is subject to satisfactory references and eligibility checks
Responsibilities
Manage and respond to sales enquiries via phone, email, and personally within the showroom and trade-show visits
Provide tailored advice on all our product options
Prepare quotations, track leads, and follow up to close sales in a timely manner
Maintain accurate records and report on sales activity weekly
Work alongside management to generate new leads
Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, design, manufacturing) to ensure client satisfaction
Attend trade shows, and customer site visits where required
Contribute ideas to improve customer experience and sales efficiency
To help improve our systems and website.
Requirements
Previous experience and understanding of mid to high end retail sales
A confident communicator with a strong customer service ethic
Ability to work independently and manage multiple leads concurrently
High attention to detail
UK driving license
Must be eligible to work in the UK.
