Salary: £34,640 with Supervisor ticket (Shift allowance and OT)
What you’ll be doing
* Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and standard operating practices, with recommendations for action and continuous improvement.
* Ensuring all equipment, plant, and accessories being used/operated are within test/examination dates and in a safe, usable condition.
* Ensuring all work is undertaken in accordance with relevant site rules, regulations (including LOLER and PUWER), standards, and company policies.
* Completing administrative tasks related to the role, such as assisting in creating risk assessments, pre-use check sheets, and standard/complex lift plans.
Your skills and experiences:
* NVQ Level 3 qualification or Supervisor ticket.
* Understanding of LOLER, PUWER, BS7121 standards.
* Experience in general lifting operations using various lifting equipment within maritime and facilities environments, including fleeting operations with chain blocks of various capacities.

The Slinging & Fleeting team:
As part of the Slinging and Fleeting team, you will perform all aspects of slinging and fleeting items on ships, overhead gantry crane duties as requested. This may involve using IT systems to assist in preparing lifting operations. The role offers variety and opportunities for progression within the company's lifting structure.
