We are working with a well established, fast-growing main contractor delivering high quality projects across London and the Northern Home Counties, including Milton Keynes. Operating with a Tier 1 mindset, the business specialises in commercial refurbishment, CAT A fit-out and complex cut & carve schemes.
With a strong pipeline of secured work across both London and Milton Keynes, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead key projects.
Role Responsibilities
* Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of site operations on projects typically ranging from £10m - £50m
* Lead, manage and motivate site teams including Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors
* Oversee cut & carve and structural refurbishment works, often within live or logistically challenging environments
* Manage CAT A commercial fit-out packages ensuring delivery aligns with programme and specification
* Maintain high standards of health & safety and site compliance
* Coordinate with clients, consultants and stakeholders across multiple sites
* Drive programme performance through short term planning and proactive problem solving
* Manage quality assurance, snagging and handover processes
* Plan and manage logistics, particularly on constrained city-centre and business park schemes
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor
* Background working for a main contractor on commercial projects
* Strong track record delivering refurbishment, CAT A fit-out and cut & carve projects
* Experience working on projects across London and/or Milton Keynes / wider South East
* Comfortable managing works in occupied buildings or restricted environments
* SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), First Aid
* Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
