Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead, develop and inspire your leadership team and front-line staff to deliver an amazing customer experience and give the members and guests a sense of belonging.
2. Support your management team enhance the departments they manage to improve the customer experience and increase revenue.
3. Work closely with the Membership department to develop the sales strategy to drive new member sales, society days and hospitality event bookings.
4. Full financial accountability: profit and loss, income, expenditure, helping set the budgets and business plan.
5. Ensure the property and grounds are well maintained, clean and safe at all times.
The ideal candidate will have:
6. A passion for delivering great hospitality.
7. An interest in golf and the golf industry.
8. Club Manager or General Manager experience within a golf or similar club environment such as health and fitness clubs, private members clubs or sports clubs.
9. A working understanding of managing food and beverage operations and hosting events.
10. A proven track record in driving sales proactively through a sales function.
11. Sound financial and commercial acumen.
12. A flexible approach to working to meet the demands of the position.
