Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our growing team in Ipswich. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and willingness to take on a variety of tasks in a fast-paced construction environment. The role involves supporting our project teams with manual tasks on-site, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring smooth operations throughout the project duration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. General labouring duties, including loading and unloading materials
2. Assisting with the setup and clearing of construction sites
3. Operating basic machinery and hand tools
4. Carrying out site maintenance, including ensuring site cleanliness and safety
5. Supporting tradesmen and skilled workers as required
6. Adhering to health and safety regulations and site protocols
7. Moving materials, tools, and equipment as needed
Requirements:
8. Previous labouring experience in construction or a similar field is an advantage
9. Good physical fitness and stamina
10. Ability to work well as part of a team
11. Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
12. Valid CSCS card
13. A good understanding of health and safety on-site
