* Job title: Site Manager

* Salary: £45,000–£50,000 (DOE)
* Package: Commercial vehicle (pickup truck), 20 days holiday + bank holidays + Christmas shutdown, option for private healthcare, regular social events
* Locations of work: Nationwide, with projects commonly in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Peterborough and surrounding areas
* Ideal home location: Midlands (central, e.g. Lutterworth, Leicester, Rugby, Birmingham)
* Working hours: Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:00
Responsibilities
* Site management:
o Oversee day-to-day site operations on commercial projects typically valued between £500k–£4m
o Manage site setup and logistics, typically with 10–30 operatives on site
o Lead a small site team
* Programme & delivery:
o Plan, coordinate and drive construction programmes to meet deadlines and quality standards
o Ensure smooth running of Cat A, Cat B and white box commercial projects
* Health & safety:
o Take full responsibility for health and safety on site
o Ensure compliance with company procedures, legislation and best practice
* Documentation & reporting:
o Produce and maintain contract reports, programmes and site documentation
o Use internal systems for housekeeping, reporting and communication
* Stakeholder coordination:
o Liaise with visiting managers, subcontractors and other stakeholders
o Represent the business professionally on live projects
Experience & background
* Project experience:
o Proven track record delivering commercial projects (Cat A, Cat B, white box, office/commercial fit-out or refurbishment)
o Comfortable working on projects in the £500k–£4m range
* Profile:
o Proactive, independent Site Manager who can run jobs with minimal supervision
o Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time, people and resources effectively
Skills & competencies
* Technical & IT:
o Confident using an iPad, laptop and smartphone
o Competent with Microsoft Word and Excel for internal housekeeping, reporting and programmes
* Health & safety:
o Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements
* People management:
o Able to lead and motivate site teams and maintain high standards
