About the Job
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated AI/ML Developer with strong programming skills in Python or other relevant languages to join our dynamic team. This is a head office role with constant exposure to senior decision makers across the international business in a leading security and facility services company.
You will need to have the skill set and ability to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions on cloud platforms. You should be familiar with big data tools and technologies for handling large datasets and have hands-on experience with cloud providers like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Being a strong communicator is key to this role's success, as you will work closely with other engineers, the data reporting function, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative AI-powered products and services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Utilise cloud platforms and Cloud AI solutions to build and deploy scalable AI solutions.
2. Process and analyse large datasets to train and evaluate AI/ML models.
3. Collaborate with data scientists to optimise model performance and accuracy.
4. Develop and maintain AI/ML pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and model training.
5. Integrate AI/ML models with existing applications and systems.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML and cloud technologies.
7. Contribute to the development of AI/ML strategy and best practices.
Requirements
* Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
* Experience with machine learning frameworks and hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP) and their AI/ML services.
* Software and API Development: Experience with software development best practices, including version control, testing, and debugging. Ability to design and develop APIs for AI models.
* Awareness of ethical considerations in AI development and deployment.
* A strong academic background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a relevant area of study is highly desirable.
* Experience with natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a benefit.
* Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects is desirable.
Skills Required
* Data Analysis: Expertise in data cleaning, transformation, and preparation for AI model training. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and evaluate AI model performance.
* Data Storage and Processing: Understanding of cloud data storage solutions and data processing services.
* DevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD tools for AI models.
* Communication: Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
This role can be based in the United Kingdom with the flexibility to work from home, but you will be required to attend on-site locations and our head office in London SW1H 0DB when necessary. The position offers a salary up to £54,700, 5 weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays, contributory pension scheme, and employee benefits such as perks at work.
