HR Administrator - Independent School (Guildford) Full-time, permanent | £28,000 - £35,000 | Start: ASAP We're working with a leading independent school in Guildford to appoint a full-time HR Administrator to support the delivery of high-quality HR and compliance services across the school. What you'll be doing as HR Administrator: * Supporting recruitment campaigns, interview logistics and candidate communication * Conducting safer recruitment checks and maintaining compliance records * Issuing contracts and processing changes to terms of employment * Assisting with the preparation of monthly payroll * Maintaining HR databases (Every HR, iSAMS) and producing reports * Coordinating induction and training records * Supporting inspections and statutory returns (ISI/Ofsted) * Providing general administrative support to the Head of HR and school leaders What we're looking for: * Strong administrative experience in a busy, professional setting * Excellent attention to detail and confident IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) * Experience in a school or regulated environment is ideal (but not essential) * Understanding of safer recruitment and data protection * Friendly, reliable, and highly organised team player Why apply? * Term-time lunch and gym use * 5 weeks' holiday plus bank holidays * Professional development opportunities * Warm, inclusive working culture Safeguarding Statement The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
