Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team in preparing hearty and tasty meals for our residents. The ideal candidate will have the knowledge for providing delicious and nutritious meals and be familiar with food hygiene principles.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes
- Ensure food safety standards are met during all stages of food preparation
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen
- Help with meal planning, inventory and stock take
Skills
- Proficient in kitchen operations and culinary techniques
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
We are a care home in Highworth providing care to around 25 residents. Training is provided. Working alternate weekends will be expected.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
