Project: Project Lighthouse backfill to maintain IRMS legacy systems and develop interfaces between GentTax and IRMS systems during the modernization period to support all four rollouts.
Virginia Tax is seeking an experienced, senior-level PowerBuilder developer to provide analysis, support, and maintenance for the IRMS legacy system, as well as development and implementation of the GenTax–IRMS interface under the direction of Virginia Department of Taxation management. This individual will work collaboratively in a team environment.

* Technical knowledge in designing, developing and maintaining TAX processing and revenue management systems
* Product knowledge of IRMS system and/or functional knowledge.

Skills
* Hands‑on experience developing PowerBuilder applications using PowerBuilder 12.5 or higher – 7 years
* Design and develop clear and maintainable code – 5 years
* Team Foundation (Azure Dev Ops) Server and its use to support version control, and application lifecycle management – 5 years
* Experience working with Agile/scrum project management methodologies – 2 years
* Able to work independently as well as in a teamwork environment – 2 years
* Pay attention to details and have a result‑driven mindset – 2 years
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to coordinate with other application development teams, team leads, business analysts – 2 years
* Hands‑on experience using relational databases, such as Oracle 19C or higher, or MySQL or similar – 7 years
* Design and develop clear and maintainable code – 7 years
* Product knowledge of IRMS system and/or functional knowledge – 7 years (highly desired)
* Must be either US Citizen or Green Card Holder – required
