SITE MANAGER – Domestic Extensions
Hende Building Services is an award-winning Construction Company based in Cheadle Hulme, specialising in design and build, domestic extensions, refurbishments and attic/garage conversions in the local area.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced site manager to oversee all aspects of multiple site project management.
The ideal candidate will have the following Skills:
* Excellent project management
* Highly organized with good attention to detail
* Ability to multitask
* Great problem solver
* Excellent leadership, management & communication skills
* Computer literate (word, excel, Dropbox)
* Ability to price additional work requests (training provided)
* Ability to accurately measure up on site to order windows/doors/ steels
Experience/Qualifications:
* Experience of working as a site manager managing domestic extensions
* Time served own trade background
* Good knowledge and understanding of all key aspects of domestic extensions/conversions
* Ability to understand and interpret a variety of plan drawings and structural designs/calculations (including material take off from plan)
* Established contacts and working relationships with a wide variety of builders merchants, suppliers & trades people.
* Good understanding of Health and Safety on site to ensure the sites are operating safely and lawfully.
* First aid at work certificate
* CSCS (Construction Skills Certificate Training)
* SMSTS (Site management safety training scheme)
Key Responsibilities:
* Full project management from site set-up through to project completion.
* Supervise, motivate and co-ordinate employees, subcontractors and material suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely on time, to budget and to a high-quality finish.
* Develop excellent working relationship with clients liaising with them on a regular basis to keep them updated on the progress of their project.
