Are you an experienced Senior Site Manager with a strong background in timber frame residential construction? We are seeking a driven, hands‑on professional to lead the delivery of a 70-unit timber frame housing development on the Kent coast.
This is an exciting opportunity to take full site responsibility for a high‑quality coastal scheme from superstructure through to completion, working with an established developer known for delivering thoughtfully designed homes.
The Role
As Senior Site Manager, you will:
* Take full operational control of a 70-plot timber frame housing project
* Manage day‑to‑day site activities, ensuring programme, quality, and safety targets are met
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
* Oversee timber frame installation and sequencing
* Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations
* Conduct regular progress meetings and report to senior management
* Ensure homes are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget
* Manage NHBC inspections and handovers
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on residential developments (50+ units)
* Strong experience delivering timber frame housing projects
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certification
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Strong knowledge of NHBC standards and UK Building Regulations
* Ability to manage programmes and drive productivity
