About the role
This role is an office-based position in East Kilbride with some travel required. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all electrical installations meet current industry regulations, client specifications and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced electrician with management experience who is looking for a desk-based job.
Day-to-day duties
1. Develop, implement and maintain electrical quality assurance and control procedures across all installations (domestic and commercial).
2. Conduct inspection and audits against electrical systems being installed both pre- and post-installation.
3. Ensure compliance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and local building codes.
