Mobile Unit Catering Manager - 25 hours per week

Position: Mobile Unit Catering Manager, 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term‑time only at various schools across Solihull, with occasional service in Coventry. 38.6 weeks per year. Annual salary: £15,363.45.
Responsibilities:
* Perform general kitchen duties and maintain a high standard of food presentation and service. Ensure all food is served at the right temperature, garnished appropriately, and presented attractively.
* Serve meals and assist customers in selecting dishes.
* Order, prepare and cook food following the centralised menu plan for breakfasts, lunches, buffets and promotions, ensuring government nutritional and food‑based standards are met.
* Compile and submit all statistical documentation required by the central administration office, including trading sheets, payroll adjustment sheets and periodic stock control sheets.
* Prepare or delegate preparation of dining area for all types of catering requirements, including function catering.
Qualifications and requirements:
* NVQ Level 2 Award in Hospitality and Catering Principles.
* Level 2 Food Safety qualification.
* Driving licence required and access to a vehicle.
* Enthusiastic, self‑motivated, approachable, flexible and adaptable to meet diverse customer needs.
