Job Description
We’re hiring an HR Manager for a manufacturing business in Cambridge supporting a close-knit site of around 45 employees, with additional exposure to wider EMEA HR activity through European HQ.
This is a hands-on, visible role where you’ll partner closely with operational leadership while also contributing to broader regional HR initiatives.
The role offers a strong mix of local ownership and international exposure, ideal for someone who enjoys both day-to-day HR involvement and the opportunity to influence wider business activity.
Responsibilities
* Lead HR support for the Cambridge manufacturing site
* Partner with managers across production, engineering, and operations
* Support employee relations, performance management, engagement, and recruitment
* Drive HR process improvements and best practice
* Support leadership development and workforce planning
* Contribute to wider EMEA HR projects and initiatives
Requirements
* Previous HR experience within manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or operational environments
* Strong HR generalist background
* Confident working autonomously within a smaller site environment
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Commercially minded and practical in approach
