Site Manager
Location: Warrington, North West
Region: North West & Central
Due to continued growth and the CP7 contract award in the NW&C region, we are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team. The role involves managing a portfolio of rail, civil engineering, and buildings asset management, maintenance, and renewal projects.
Business Unit
AmcoGiffen is a strategic contractor supporting infrastructure clients across various markets including rail, highways, environmental, canals, rivers, aviation, power, electrical vehicle infrastructure, and mechanical & electrical engineering. The North West & Central region has a strong portfolio of infrastructure projects and framework contracts, including bridges, embankments, stations, tunnels, structural steel, and moving structures. The business involves multi-disciplinary civils projects, working with a variety of clients and tier 1 contractors.
The Role
The Site Manager will be responsible for the daily management of rail and civil asset management, maintenance, and renewal works within the regional portfolio. This includes small works in drainage, off-track activities such as level crossings and fencing, as well as broader civil and building asset management tasks.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring contract execution complies with:
* All applicable legislation
* Contract terms and conditions
* Health and Safety Plan
* Work Package Plans and Task Briefing Sheets
* Quality and Environmental Plans
* Delivering projects within scope, time, and budget
* Liaising with site staff and surveyors to manage allowances
* Monitoring progress to meet objectives
* Managing contract changes effectively
* Providing progress reports to project managers
Requirements
Candidates should have experience as a Sub Agent or Site Manager in rail and civil engineering maintenance environments, holding:
* SMSTS certification
* PTS certification
* A degree, HNC, or HND in civil engineering or equivalent experience
* Experience managing multi-disciplinary civils and maintenance projects
