This business is known for its superb shop floor environment, strong company culture, and commitment to producing high-quality engineered products. Due to continued success, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Quality Manager to strengthen their management team.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on Quality professional who thrives in a manufacturing environment and enjoys driving continuous improvement. Working on-site 4.5 days per week, you will take ownership of the Quality Management System and play a key role in ensuring standards are maintained and enhanced across the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, maintain, and develop the company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal audits; support external audits as required.
*
Drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
*
Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and senior management to maintain consistent product and process quality.
*
Manage quality documentation, reporting, KPIs, and compliance requirements.
*
Oversee inspection processes, including first-off, in-process, and final inspections.
*
Provide guidance and quality training to colleagues where required.
Skills & Experience:
*
Proven experience in a Quality Manager or Senior Quality role within an engineering/manufacturing setting.
*
Strong, practical understanding of ISO 9001 (essential).
*
Confident conducting audits and managing QMS documentation.
*
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
*
Ability to confidently read engineering drawings and utilise inspection tools (desirable).
What the Company Offers:
