We\'re searching for an experienced and driven HR Manager to join our team at Tarmac, supporting one of the UK\'s largest Cement Plants - Tunstead - as well as our Supply Chain operations across the Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of HR in a business that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement at a time where great plans are in place for site expansion and future projects. As a key member of the Cement HR team, you\'ll partner with stakeholders to deliver strategic people goals while also providing hands-on support in day-to-day HR operations. From driving employee engagement and change initiatives to leading on talent development, you\'ll play a pivotal role in building an inclusive, high-performing culture.

Responsibilities
* Managing all operational HR activities for your area, ensuring professional support for stakeholders.
* Implementing HR policies and initiatives aligned with Group objectives.
* Leading on talent attraction, development, and succession planning.
* Ensuring compliance with employment law and internal frameworks.
* Championing equality, fairness, and consistency in employee relations.
* Coaching and supporting site management to build an engaging workplace culture.
* Maintaining positive relationships with trade unions, including wage negotiations.
Qualifications
* CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience).
* Proven HR experience in a fast-paced, large organisation - ideally within heavy industry, engineering, or manufacturing.
* Strong knowledge of HR best practice and employment law.
* Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, business change (e.g. TUPE, reorganisations), talent management, and unionised environments.
* Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
* The ability to influence, coach, and build relationships at all levels.
* A track record of delivering HR projects that drive real impact.
* Analytical, data-driven decision-making skills.
* A passion for fostering inclusion and diversity.
