Due to ongoing success, Wates has an opportunity for a Site Manager to join our planned maintenance team on a fixed-term contract until the end of the year.
The Site Manager will work on a planned works contract including kitchens, bathrooms, roofing replacements, and electrical works. Ideally, candidates will have experience managing planned works within social housing projects, particularly in the South Derby area.
The primary focus is to ensure projects are completed safely, within budget, on time, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Input into and manage the programming of works.
* Manage operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain quality and safety standards.
* Conduct pre- and post-inspections, advise on actions, and assist with design solutions for successful project delivery.
* Prepare weekly site progress reports and submit them to the Project Manager.
* Ensure completed job packs are sent to the Project Manager to facilitate invoicing and cash flow management.
Applicants should have a proven track record managing projects in social housing, preferably with experience in planned works. The role requires undergoing a DBS check, and additional pre-employment checks may apply.
